1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to consultancy and advisory services provided by Progression Pathways.
By accepting a proposal, quotation or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.2. Our Services
Progression Pathways provides independent consultancy and advisory services to organisations and individuals.Our services may include, but are not limited to:*Progression Journey Reviews
*Service Reviews and Improvement
*Service Design and User Journey Mapping
*Organisational Effectiveness Reviews
*Strategy Development
*Operational Improvement
*Student Experience and Support Reviews
*Access, Participation and Progression Consultancy
*Employability and Progression Strategy
*Project and Change Management
*Leadership Advice and Critical Friend Support
*Workshops, Facilitation and Training
*Independent Advisory SupportThe scope, deliverables, timescales and fees for each engagement will be agreed in writing before work begins.3. Discovery Consultations
Initial discovery consultations are provided without obligation.A discovery consultation is intended to explore your requirements and determine whether Progression Pathways is the right fit for your needs. It does not create a contractual relationship or commit either party to proceeding with consultancy services.4. Proposals and Quotations
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
*proposals and quotations remain valid for 30 days
*work outside the agreed scope may require a revised quotation
*any changes to scope will be discussed and agreed before additional work is undertaken.5. Client Responsibilities
To enable us to deliver our services effectively, clients agree to:
*provide accurate and complete information relevant to the engagement
*provide timely access to documentation and key stakeholders where required
*review draft deliverables within agreed timescales
*obtain any necessary internal approvals
*communicate any changes that may affect the agreed scope or timescales.Delays in receiving information may affect delivery dates.6. Fees and Payment
Fees will be agreed before work begins and confirmed within the proposal or quotation.
Unless otherwise agreed:
*invoices are payable within 14 calendar days
*projects with a value exceeding £500 may require a deposit of between 25% and 50% before work commences
*Progression Pathways reserves the right to suspend work where invoices remain unpaid beyond the agreed payment terms.7. Expenses
Unless otherwise agreed, consultancy fees exclude reasonable travel, accommodation and other agreed expenses incurred in delivering services.Any such expenses will be discussed with the client in advance and charged at cost.8. Changes to Scope
Where additional work is requested beyond the agreed scope, Progression Pathways will discuss the requirements and provide a revised quotation before undertaking the additional work.9. Confidentiality
Progression Pathways recognises that clients may share confidential or commercially sensitive information.All information provided during an engagement will be treated as confidential unless:*disclosure is required by law
*disclosure is authorised by the client
*disclosure is necessary to fulfil the agreed consultancy services.This obligation continues after the engagement has ended.10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
*clients retain ownership of information they provide
*Progression Pathways retains ownership of its methodologies, frameworks, templates, tools and intellectual property
*upon full payment, clients receive a non-exclusive licence to use deliverables produced specifically for their organisation or personal use.11. Technology and AI-Assisted Working
Progression Pathways may use appropriate technology, including AI-assisted tools, to support research, drafting, analysis and administrative activities where this improves efficiency and quality.All consultancy outputs, recommendations and deliverables are reviewed by a consultant before being shared with clients.Confidential information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.12. Professional Judgement
Recommendations are based upon:*information provided by the client
*information available at the time of the engagement
*professional judgement and experience.Whilst every effort is made to provide accurate, practical and evidence-informed advice, clients remain responsible for decisions made and actions implemented following consultancy recommendations.13. Limitation of Liability
Progression Pathways will exercise reasonable skill, care and diligence in delivering its services.To the fullest extent permitted by law, Progression Pathways shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from the use of its consultancy services.Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded.14. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Consultancy meetings may be rescheduled by either party with at least 24 hours' notice.Progression Pathways reserves the right to charge for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.Either party may terminate an engagement by providing written notice.Clients remain responsible for payment for work completed up to the date of termination.15. Complaints
We are committed to providing a professional, high-quality service.
